Hooray for Summer! I have my garden planted, my sister is getting married, Shay is almost done with school for the summer...Life is just rolling along!
Grant is now 7 months old. My sister Celia was just here with her daughter Bella (who is 13 months old) (and her husband Ryan of course) and Grant and Bella are the same Height (26 inches) but Grant weighs 3 lbs. more! (Grant is about 19 lbs. and Bella is about 16 lbs.) It was really funny to see them together because Grant is just learning to crawl, but Bella is trying to walk...and other funny differences between 7 and 13 months! Grant is pretty fast at crawling now, and is even trying to pull himself up to things! He is so excited and proud of himself and loves to get into stuff and keep up with people.
Chloe is as busy as ever. Sometimes she just drives me crazy because she is so persistent but has no common sense or sense of limits yet! Hopefully we will survive! She is very entertaining to have around if you don't have to discipline her, though! and she is definitely a go getter! She also wants to thank Aunt Brook for the dresses and skirts she sent- she loves them! I am trying to get pictures of them to send... they just keep getting dirty in them before I get their hair done and picture taken!
Ellie is trying to assert her place in the world. She tries really hard to be strong like her sisters, but unfortunately she doesn't quite know how to do it with out being shrill and whiney yet... She also loves wearing her new dresses and skirts from Aunt Brook, as well as playing outside, in water, and anything to do with friends! She had tons of fun at the Child Family Reunion riding the Horses Uncle Boyd brought. She is also very excited to start preschool this fall and is already counting the days and loves the Homework Grandma Valerie gave her to get her through the summer!
Shaylee is loving Kindergarten down to the last few days! She has her Kindergarten "Graduation" next Wednesday evening. She has been reading up a storm and loved practicing spanish with my sister Celia when she was here. She loves going to the Library and getting new books to read, and also had a blast at the reunion riding horses. She reminds me every day that Uncle Boyd said we could come ride horses, or he would bring them to our house for a birthday party anytime and asks if she can do it for her birthday every day!
I am just running along as usual, there are always odd projects I don't quite get to but would like to do, right now it is sewing summer PJ's for the girls, as well as making bows and hair clips...you got me hooked Brook! I have the stuff, I just don't usually get to sit down and work on it, because when I do get to sit down I am usually putting off dishes, or laundry or something else that should get done before I do my own fun stuff...
Jeff is officially getting promoted to Audit Manager, effective July 1st! Yeah!! We put in our time, He worked very hard, and he is finally there! We will see how that effects his travel schedule...He still takes care of a few websites for fun, and is trying to get back into running, even though he didn't get into the St. George Marathon again this year. I think He will be signing up for a half Marathon.
Well, that is our monthly Update, we hope you've enjoyed it, and we will try to get caught up on posting pictures and such!

You're amazing! Congrats on the job promotion!
Grant is TOO adorable. I haven't seen a photo of him in months and he looks totally different. Such a Davis for sure. The girls all look huge to me. I can't believe how big they are getting. Glad they liked their dresses!
Ella is big too. I think she's like 18 lbs. The Japanese Grandma's always think she's one and then go "OOOHHH" and make a funny clicking noise as if to say "Very fat baby, you feed her to much" as they shake their head at her.
